LandDesign, Inc (1999 – 2001 & 2005 - 2007) Low Impact Storm Water Conveyance designs. Project Management for Landscape and Amenity Plans for new communities in the Nashville area. Project Management for preparation of City/County submittal documents to surrounding municipalities for plan approval and permits. Successfully attained required rezoning and construction approval. Lead efforts in completing Environmental Impact Studies. Preparation of land planning documents from design conception to final construction documents and construction observation. Streetscape designs for communities and downtowns across the south.
Doug Arnold, Landscape Architecture-Land Planning (2004-2005) Managed residential projects from conceptual drawings through construction observation and inspection. Prepared Estate plans from concept to completion encompassing site plans and construction documents, including grading, hardscape , planting plans and swimming pool/water feature design. RM Plan Group (2001 – 2004) Belmont University, Nashville, TN. Design and development of overall master plan which was then broken down into areas of concentration for further detailed analysis. Lead efforts in site selection and development for several proposed campus buildings and amenities. Managed production of visual graphics used in property acquisition and community partnership meetings completed to insure the viability and growth potential of the university. Completed analysis of existing academic facilities to make recommendations for future uses. Howard Center Master Plan, Nashville, TN. Provided site planning assistance required in the redevelopment of Metropolitan Nashville/Davidson County’s municipal headquarters. Coordinated with team architects, engineers and Planning Dept. officials to marry new state of the art facilities with existing historic structures including utilities update and expansion. Comprehensive plan for Lindale, TX. Managed team in updating existing land use and zoning information. Lead efforts in cultural and historic research of the Lindale area. Formed steering community to aid in establishing needs and desires of local community for future growth and development of Lindale. Managed team in developing future land use plans. Lead team for downtown master plan which included identifying opportunities for infill and redevelopment. Lead efforts in the designing and site planning for new municipal facilities i.e. courts building, performing arts center. Comprehensive Plan for Hopkinsville, KY.
