Rutherford County Facilities Master Plan

Rutherford County, TN

 

 

We worked closely with court officials, local business owners and residence to develop plan options which incorporated strong pedestrian links of Civic improvements with surrounding amenities to increase activity in downtown Murfreesboro. By creatively tying the downtown together through landscape elements, attention to scale and shelter from the elements, pedestrians no longer feel out of place as they travel the sidewalks of town.

 

Creation of this facilities plan included:

· Site planning for a new 160,000 square foot Judicial center

· Site planning for new 300-400 space parking structure

· Pedestrian bridge

· Vehicular circulation improvements

· Streetscape improvements

· Adaptive reuse of existing facilities
