The city Of Lindale was experiencing significant growth and found itself lacking in many of the elements many residence seek in a quaint historic downtown experience. At the same time, Lindale wanted to preserve character of the outlying rural areas. We developed a plan to solidify the decayed urban fabric, allow for improved public/civic facilities, create a positive pedestrian experience and attract new local businesses. The land use plan established a means by which to ensure that the vision of Lindale would be protected from over development in inappropriate areas while embracing the growing High Tech and medical industry in the area.
